Effortlessly Hide Your Navigation Bar & Footer on Squarespace (No Code Needed!)
We used to need to use CSS to hide the navigation bar and footer on Squarespace and it would get even more complicated when we had to do it just for one page because then we’d have to use the specific page’s code injection.
Y’know, those website pages with like a beautiful landing page and they ask you to “Enter Here” or something!
In case you’re thinking, “what the hell is she talking about??”
Here’s a mock-up of what I mean! This is is for my Passion Project, Luna Porter, a wedding photographer.
So, it’s pretty simple! Let me break it down for you.
Step 1:
Create the page where your navigation bar and / or footer will be hidden from
You can create a page by going to Website > Pages > “+”. You can choose any type of page you like (Blank Page, Page Layout, etc)
Step 2:
Click on the “⚙️” next to the page you just created
After clicking the “⚙️”, click on the “Navigation” tab
Step 3:
Toggle “Off” the functions you want to hide
Turning off the header will hide the Navigation Bar of that web page (only to that web page, your other pages will still have the navigation bar).
Turning off the footer will hide the Footer of that web page.
Step 4:
Save
Very important, don’t forget to hit save!
Easy, right?! Now you’ve hidden your Navigation Bar and your Footer from your landing page.♡
